Residentials and Over-nighters

A brilliant 2 days. Highly professional and enthusiastic staff, fun activities, great food and an excellent campsite made this a very special activity for the whole of year 8. Thanks

My Year 5 Class went on an overnight activity trip to Brokerswood at the end of September. The children had a fantastic time and experienced many exciting activities including tree climbing, bushcraft (den-building and fire-making) and raft building.  Everyone really enjoyed themselves and the staff were amazing.  Thank you!

For groups up to 170 people!

We will tailor our residential and overnight experience to meet the requirements of the group.  Using either local venues or sites across the country we aim to deliver an experience that is challenging, fun and affordable!

Examples include:

Camping in the woods

For some this might be their first night away from home or first night camping in the woods.  We will tailor the programme to suit the needs of the group - providing just the right amount adventure, challenge, learning and fun!

We can supply tents if needed - either 2 person pop-ups or 12 person teepees.  Food can be supplied by the Brokerswood Cafe team or you are welcome to sort your own food out to make the camp as affordable as possible.

Combine the camp with our multi activity programme to make this a truly amazing experience.  Prices start from £25 per person per day / night.

Parent / Child Challenge

A chance for parents and their children to work through a variety of challenges together - ranging from building an overnight shelter to constructing a raft.  Our 'Father and Son' activities are proving popular with schools.

I'm a CHAV - get me out of here!  (Survival Challenge)

Lots of challenges for the group to try and earn their food.  A good introduction to actions and consequences.

Biblins - Boat 'n' Bike

Canoe along the River Wye, overnight camp including spooky walk, then try a 'RED RUN' on the bikes in the Forest of Dean.

Paddle, Peddle, Pursue Challenge

16 hours of pure activity with some time to sleep a the end.  A favourite of the holiday programmes!

Dartmour wilderness challenge

Walking, climbing and abseiling.

32 mile Blister Hike

A 'favourite' of the  former Young People's Support Service - seen as a 'rite of passage'.  32 miles around Wiltshire with the option of an overnight camp.  Some students have done this four times!
