Doggy SUP Sessions

Doggy SUP  sessions in beautiful Wiltshire

What:

A chance to experience Stand Up Paddle Boarding with your dog in Wiltshire.  We have a selection of wide stable boards that allow you and your doggy to enjoy this amazing activity

Where:

Bradford on Avon – meet at the Train Station Carpark

For whom:

Anyone and their dog with a maximum weight on the board of 110 kg.  This activity is physical so participants will need a basic level of fitness PLUS the ability to lift / help their dog on to the board from the water, if needed.

When do these sessions run:

We run these sessions generally between April – October.

What do I need to wear:

Unless you have an amazing balance – you are very likely to get wet!  We suggest either bringing your own wetsuit or we may be  able to supply wetsuits, if needed.  Otherwise – bring a complete change of clothing and footwear, plus a towel.

Do I need to be able to swim:

No!  You will wear a Buoyancy Aid and helmet.

Does the Doggy need a life-jacket?

Yes!  You will need to bring your own life-jacket along to fit your dog.  We understand that dogs can swim extremely well but the life-jacket will avoid them drowning (if they become too tired in the water) and aid you needing to lift / help your dog back on to your board should he / she jump off!

Other Doggy Info

There can be up to 9 other people and dogs on this session.  Your dog needs to be friendly towards other dogs / people!  Please also bring dog poo bags – just in case!
