Kayaking

The Widest Range of Boats, the Widest Range of Locations

The Wiltshire Outdoor Learning Team is able to deliver a wide variety of canoe and kayaking experiences – from taster sessions to the British Canoe Union’s (BCU ) Paddlepower, 1 and 2 star awards.

We are aware that some people are put off by the thought of being stuck in a capsized kayak so we now have 2 fleets of ‘sit-ons’, as well as our general purpose and white water spec kayaks. We also have two fleets of canadian canoes allowing you to enjoy both single and double bladed paddling.

Bespoke Kayaking Sessions

Whether it be a school event, corporate team building, a charity event or a birthday party we offer kayaking events tailored to your requirements. Please contact us to discuss.

1 star course usually takes between 5-6 hours for complete novices. 2 star course usually takes 8 sessions plus a 3 hour journey BUT this requires lots of commitment and extra paddling time. It is worth discussing your training needs with us to identify if the 2 star is the best course for your group or whether you should try the D of E specific canoe / kayak training course.
